On 27 June 2026 the University launched its Interdisciplinary Innovation Space on floors 6–8 of the Ta Quang Buu Library — Vietnam's first Design Factory in the network initiated by Aalto University; official inauguration is planned for 15 October 2026.
2026 targets: 10,000 students in supplementary skills training, 200 students on real projects, 10 prototypes and 3 patent filings.
The launch opened the science-and-technology series celebrating the 70th anniversary.
